Mr Andrew Duckworth is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and an Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Following completion of his training in Edinburgh, he was an Upper Limb Fellow at the Wrightington Upper Limb Unit. His clinical interests are in trauma and upper limb surgery, with a focus on injuries around the elbow, wrist and hand. His current research includes clinical trials in orthopaedic trauma, large data and patient reported outcome measures. He is a Co-CI and PI/co-app on NIHR funded clinical trials. He is an Editorial Board Member for the Bone and Joint Journal (BJJ) and Bone & Joint360, and is a co-director of the world-renowned Edinburgh International Trauma Symposium.
