Julia Trusler, the Director of Policy and Programs at the BOA, addresses an audience, introducing the work and opportunities available within the trauma committee. The trauma committee, led by Chair Bob Handley, conducts quarterly meetings and informal monthly Zoom discussions to monitor ongoing projects. Julia outlines various projects, consultation responses, and representation opportunities within the committee and other organizations, such as the Center for Perioperative Care. The BOA is currently looking for a new vice chair and two home fellow members, welcoming applications from both committee members and external individuals.
