Introduction to Indonesian Orthopaedic Shoulder Elbow Society (InaSES)

In this special webinar celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Argentinean Shoulder and Elbow Society, Daniel Moya expresses gratitude for the participation of Indonesian colleagues and the collaboration of shoulder and elbow societies from across all five continents. This marks the first international scientific meeting between these societies, directed by Dr. Troydimas Panjaitan from the Indonesian Shoulder Elbow Society.
The session features five speakers: Dr. Arrisna Artha presenting on principles of shoulder instability treatment, Dr. Jefri Sukmawan discussing arthroscopic stabilization surgery, Dr. Erica Kholline covering open Bankart repair, and Dr. Renaldi Prasetia addressing multi-directional shoulder instability. A case discussion will be led by Dr. Iman Vidhya Aminata.
Professor Hermawan Naga Rasyid gives an introduction to the Indonesian Shoulder Elbow Society (InaSES), highlighting its establishment and the growing importance of shoulder and elbow surgery in Indonesia, particularly in the current pandemic context. He expresses his hopes for the meeting to enhance knowledge and improve patient care in this specialized field. The collaborative effort between these two organizations aims to provide valuable insights into shoulder and elbow pathologies and surgical techniques, fostering a global exchange of knowledge.
