Dr. Lee is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee reconstruction. He believes in an individualized approach to the management of hip and knee conditions. He actively engages the patient and their families in their care plan and incorporates the use of advanced techniques and technologies in a patient specific fashion.
Dr. Lee is renowned for his expertise in both primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries. He has published extensively and given lectures both nationally and internationally on these subjects. Prior to joining HSS, he was a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Fellowship Director of the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Lee holds editorial positions at the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Journal of Arthroplasty, and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member and holds leadership positions in various associations including the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, The Knee Society, and The Hip Society.
