Bilal Jamal is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon whose NHS practice is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2006 and completed his orthopaedic training in the West of Scotland. This has been supplemented with further subspecialist training in Sheffield and Edinburgh. Mr Jamal is a recipient of the prestigious European Foot and Ankle Society travelling fellowship.
Bilal’s practice consists of trauma, foot, ankle and limb reconstruction surgery. He leads, alongside his plastic surgical colleagues, the orthoplastic service for the west of Scotland. He has a particular interest in peri articular trauma, fracture related infection and deformity correction.
Bilal sits on Council of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, the executive committee of the British Limb Reconstruction Society and is a member of the trauma committee of the British Orthopaedic Association.
