Mr Rohit Singhal specialises in lower limb arthroplasty, a surgical procedure to replace or reconstruct the joints of the lower limbs to relieve pain and restore function. His advanced training includes a 12-month Post CCT lower limb revision arthroplasty fellowship at Wrightington Hospital, followed by another 12 months at the prestigious Northumbria Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship.
He has developed particular expertise in managing complex femoral deformities and revision hip & knee surgeries, focusing on detailed planning and surgical execution. He has gained significant exposure in acetabular defect reconstructions using impaction bone grafting techniques and custom-made implantation for severe hip deformity.
Mr. Singhal also has an interest in trauma surgery, appreciating its immediate impact on improving patient function and wellbeing. He has consistently performed trauma surgery throughout his career, including during his fellowship tenure. With 18 months of experience in a Major Trauma Centre, he is proficient in handling routine trauma cases, lower limb periarticular and periprosthetic fractures, and paediatric trauma.
