Ms Holly Soper-Doyle

Biography

Integrum Physiotherapy is run by chartered physiotherapist Holly Soper-Doyle. Based in north London, Integrum Physiotherapy covers north and central London as well as the surrounding counties. Providing both specialist human physiotherapy and animal physiotherapy assessment and treatment from the comfort of your own home. Having qualified as a physiotherapist from Brunel University in 2007, Holly has extensive clinical experience after working in a variety of different specialities including: the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, UCLH, and the Whittington NHS trusts, Headley Court (the Ministry of Defence rehabilitation centre), and premiership sports teams including Chelsea and QPR. In May 2018 she gained first class honours in Veterinary Physiotherapy (PgDip) at Liverpool university vet School. ​ Holly currently works part time at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) as a clinical specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist, where she enjoys close links with some of the country's leading consultants. Her specialist area of interest is hip pathology, in both humans and animals. Holly sits on the metal on metal multidisciplinary panel at the RNOH consulting on management of metal on metal hips. She is currently looking to commence some pioneering hip research, looking into rehabilitation post hip replacement and also observed muscle patterning with hip pathology. In 2017 she became an honorary clinical lecturer at University College London, teaching on a human masters in rehabilitation. As well as working for one of the top hospitals in the country, Holly currently works some weekends for a leading veterinary referral hospital- Fitzpatrick Referrals, covering both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. ​ Having played sport to an elite level, ridden for Great Britain and faced many injuries and surgeries herself, Holly understands what you, as a patient are going through. Her specialist interest is hip dysplasia (DDH) as she herself has this condition and has been through several surgeries due to DDH. Holly has owned dogs and horses her whole life, she trained her labrador retriever Rolo as both a gun-dog, and a therapy dog and loves merging the two worlds together with voluntary therapy work for the charity Pets As Therapy- currently visiting a dementia care home and a sarcoma unit weekly.
