I am an Engineer, PhD, with 20 years of experience in the field of medical devices and orthopedics, gained in world leading health care, academics and industry institutions. I currently enjoy leading an international, multisite team of experts in computational biomechanics at Zimmer Biomet.
My interests lie in using analytical, numerical and experimental methods to understand joint biomechanics, improve operative treatments, evaluate implant safety and function, and develop new technologies that will serve the patients.
I have been a key cross-functional team member for the successful global launch of several orthopedic implants. I have coauthored more than 40 international peer-reviewed papers and regularly present at international conferences. I am the proud recipient of five research awards.
I speak German, English and French fluently.
